What I enjoy

I chose this layout for today because horses and showing horses was a huge part of my life for years! I began riding at the tender age of 3 and never stopped. I have been the proud owner of three world champion Racking horses and I do miss them so much. The summer before I had my second child I sold the last of my wonderful horses. I had decided to move on in my life and focus my attention to my children....so I have many photos and will one day complete scrapping them all!

Todays Treasured Scrapbooking blog challenge is to list five things I enjoy in addition to scrapbooking!
Here they are
1. My kids.....I love watching them grow and learn! Everyday is a new adventure and I am learning from them as well!
2. I love gardening. I have actually gotten pretty good at naming plants, both their commomn name as well as their "fancy, dancy" name!
3. Decorating, my college degree goal was Interior design.....Although I only have one college semester left to complete my goal....I have decorated many rooms for friends and of course myself!
4. Art, being the child of an artist....well , I really had no other choice but to appreciate art in some form. I have competed in tons of contests and won several awards for my pencil and pastel drawings. I have created some 3-demensional pieces that have been featured in several galleries for additional prizes! My son has also won once....at the age of three!
5. Horses, although I placed this one last it has been part of me all my life! I seem to have a bond with a horse that is unexplainable.....they seem to work very hard to please me....we each learn from one another and I still love the gratification I get just rubbing noses with them!!!!!

Now I am starting a blog challenge with Moments 2 Remember too....so today we are discussing our favorite color, so here I go!

I am crazy about green! I am not a person who is "green" with envy but I do so love to Look at the color green! Green means life, means summer, leaves that are happily hanging from trees, it means grass (and I still love the smell of freshly cut grass) I Never wear green, I rarely scrap green but I can look at green all day! I think I might do a layout of my love for green**

I am including one layout that is mostly green, it is of my little brother which is funny is so much taller than me. This layout was in the March issue of scrapstreet Ezine!
I think I am finished today !!!
